About our guides:

We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.

We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Our travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

Currently were using content from: Wikipedia, Wikitravel, World66, Open Streetmaps, DMOZ and Chefmoz

Were big fans of these projects. If you stumble across some inaccurate information in this guide, we would appreciate it if you correct it on the web site of these projects.

Pros and cons of Colombia Travel Guide by Triposo app for iPhone and iPad

Colombia Travel Guide by Triposo app good for

Using it mostly for offline map, this app is the best guide when travelling
The offline maps and saved places functions helped me a lot in my Bogota and Cartagena trip. Essential app for Colombia travellers.
Wow, what can I say I went to many places and cities in Colombia with my wife, and I must say this is very accurate. Maybe, I can participate in this triposo with photos and comments and suggestions. I am returning to Cali, Bogota, Cartagena, San Andres Isla, and finally Parque Del Cafe and Perreira, and possibly Pasto. Which you all the best great app awesome information. Paul Vezina

Some bad moments

Cant give you info on most of the destinations.. Uninstalling.
Lack of imformation on everything. All it wants you to do or hopes for you to do is add pictures and information.
I love your apps. I have used them when I travel and they have been wonderful guides. But, I am a travel agent in Colombia who love to sell Colombia and do that for living. The location of many of the points of interest in our cities are wrong. And also you are not showing the best or the major points of interest in them. I dont understand how they were chosen. I would love to help you relocate them or suggest important sites but I didnt see where can I report an error in the app or point new ones. Sorry, I dont recommend this app.
The Triposo guide saved me multiple times on my travels to Bogotá, Medellín and Cartageña. Just-in-time info and all off-line. Thoughtfully designed and awesome information.
Really great app. GPS without using data. Solid recommendations too, but the map system with real time GPS was incredible.
The offline maps and local information are crazy useful. Also enjoyed learning all about the history. And its free! Boom!
